2018 AEA-V Parent Forum
The AEA-V is holding a parent forum for members to discuss issues including:
- Flexible Working Arrangements
- Part Time work
- AEA-V Parent Handbook
- Lactation facilities
- Childcare and Nanny services
- RTW and CiBOR requirements
- Reserve and Relieving
- RDP opportunities
- Current research discussing the financial benefits of FWAs for organisations
- Union delegates representing parents
When: Friday, 4 May 2018
Time: 9.30 am – 12.00 pm (followed by catered lunch)
Where: AEA-V Office, 117-131 Capel Street, North Melbourne VIC 3051
There will be several guest speakers providing expert advice on topics such as childcare, legal rights and employer obligations.
We encourage all parents, prospective parents and part-timers to come along.
Placement Solutions, who provide flexible Nanny services to many of our members, have agreed to provide free on-site Nannies (1 per 4 children) for the duration of the forum. First-in, best-dressed and strictly by RSVP. Placement Solutions will also have a private area available for members to discuss their individual child care needs and options with a consultant.
