VTHC OH&S Reps Refresher Course

Please find below details for the first Ambulance HSR Refresher course by Victorian Trades Hall Council [VTHC]. This is the first ambulance specific HSR training day.

Employers must allow elected OHS representatives to attend the Refresher course on paid time as it is an approved course by WorkSafe Victoria under Section 69 (1) (d) of the OHS Act 2004. However, you must give your employer at least 14 days’ notice of your intention to attend. The earlier your employer is notified the better.

Please register by Friday 23rd June 2017 to ensure all obligations are met. An invoice will be sent to employer

Please note that Deputy HSRs may attend however they do not have an entitlement to be released under this provision. They can make alternative arrangements with their employer to attend.
