National Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey – BeyondBlue
TO AEAV MEMBERS
Please find below copy of email received from BeyondBlue in relation to a survey they are doing on Mental Health & Wellbeing. Attached are copies of their promotional flyers for this survey.
Hi Steve
Hope you are well and had a nice Christmas and New Year.
As you may be aware the beyondblue National Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey is in its final weeks in-field for many of the participating agencies.
In addition to the resources previously provided, we have produced a final media and promotion pack to assist each state and territory ambulance organisation in recruiting any further participants to complete the survey.
We see the support and leadership from you and the NCAU as critical to the success of the survey for their staff and respective organisations nationally. As you are aware this critical information is required to translate into recommendations and resources for all members’ benefit and ongoing wellbeing.
I am hoping you may be able to disseminate this final communications pack to each of the state and territory association delegates for the NCAU on our behalf.
Please find attached a written media ‘personal story’ featuring an interview with Ambulance Victoria Acting Senior Team Manager Darelle Barrett containing valuable quotes which can be utilised in your final promotion and communication, as well as an ‘all services’ selection of personal stories from each sector also for your reference.
Also in response to recent feedback from some agencies with the survey in field, we have been able to produce a video featuring a paramedic speaking of her own experience. This video will also be of great value in your final communications to promote survey participation.
The link can be forwarded and utilised in your promotion as you see fit.

In the meantime please do not hesitate to contact myself or Jenn Bartlett at University of WA (after Monday Jan. 8) if there is anything else we may be able to assist you with.
Thank you again for your on-going efforts and support for the survey and study.
Kind regards
Rob
