Please find links to the most recent e-News and communique from the Paramedicine Board.

The Webinar on the proposed registration standards held on 6 February was well attended.  We received many requests to upload the webinar to the Board website and this has now been done – accompanied by FAQ from the session,

As you are aware, the five proposed mandatory registration standards and the grandparenting standard were out for public consultation to 8 February, and are now on a path to Ministers. The proposed standards will be accompanied by a grandparenting fact sheet which will provide additional transparency on what evidence is required from registrants to support their applications under the grandparenting arrangements.

Participation day is still unknown.  Continued advice is “late 2018” with registration commencement to be approx three months prior.  The website will be updated as soon as key dates are known.

Although we have over 1,500 subscribers, we still need to encourage many more paramedics to sign up to receive e-News updates and any help you can provided in this respect would be appreciated
