Enterprise Agreement:
Compounding Effects of Wage Increases
So that members can fully understand the benefits of the wage rises during the term of the varied enterprise agreement, it is important to look at the compounding effect of the wage increases.
For example ALS and MICA paramedics were awarded 20.25% in the Work Value Case. But split over three increments (10% + 5.125% + %5.125%) the total amount is much higher (21.56%). Then combine this with the other pay increments during the life of the varied agreement (6% + 3% +3% + 3% + 3%) and the final amount is 45.03%.
The below table includes all EBA wage percentage increases as well as work value increases.

These increases were achieved without the loss off any conditions.
