NEPT Reasonable Overtime
The Union has had several members from various private sector organisations ask about their right to refuse “reasonable overtime”. For members that have Enterprise Agreement there are specific clauses that outline your rights/reasons for being able to negotiate the amount of reasonable overtime that you are required to work.
- For NPT Employees refer to Clauses 21 (b), (e) and (f) of your Enterprise Agreement.
- RFDS Employees refer to clauses 26.1, 26.2 and 26.3 (a) – (j) of your Enterprise Agreement
Wilsons Medic One St John and Health Select there are no references to “reasonable overtime” in the Ambulance and Patient Transport Industry Award. PSV Employees refer to clause 15 in your Collective Agreement.
All members are reminded that your Health and Well Being and a Work Life Balance are paramount when considering reasonable overtime to be worked at the end of each shift.
