Stand down from duty

Recently a number of members have contacted the Union after having been stood down from duty by Ambulance Victoria management.

While it would be inappropriate to discuss the detail of this matter at this stage, the Union can assure members that we are fully supporting all members who have sought support and legal advice from the AEAV.

The Union has also sought a commitment from AV to have this matter dealt with as efficiently and promptly as possible to avoid unnecessary distress on those involved.

Members are encouraged to seek support from VACU and Peer Support if they require it and contact the Union for support and advice if needed.
