Ambulance Victoria‘s Acting Executive Director of Clinical Operations, Terry Marshall, has confirmed that the AV Executive discussed the provision of support to staff who were affected by the recent bushfire crisis.

In discussions with AEAV, Terry Marshall has stated that an announcement will be made by AV this week detailing the support mechanisms being put in place for staff who were directly impacted. This announcement will include instructions on how AV staff can apply for support if required.

Terry Marshall reiterated that these support options are available to all staff, irrespective of union affiliation and that staff do not need to email their union or association to be eligible.

Once released, AEAV will continue to work with AV to ensure that all impacted staff receive adequate support.
